Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Intervals mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Intervals is a focus timer application that helps users manage work sessions using scientifically-backed interval techniques. The App provides:

• Timer functionality with multiple preset options
• Progress tracking and statistics
• Break reminders and tips
• Local data storage

License

Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal device(s)
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App
• Use the App for illegal activities
• Attempt to bypass or disable app features

Intellectual Property

Ownership

Intervals and all its content, features, and functionality are protected by:

• Copyright laws
• Trademark laws
• International intellectual property laws

This includes:

• App design and user interface
• Flip-clock animations
• App icon and graphics
• App name and branding
• Source code and algorithms

User Data

You retain all rights to your locally stored productivity data. We do not claim ownership of your:

• Session records
• Progress statistics
• Settings and preferences

The App integrates with third-party services:

Advertising

Ad Display

The App displays banner advertisements during break periods. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept:

• Ads are served by Google AdMob
• We do not control ad content
• Ad revenue supports free app development
• Ads can be hidden by skipping breaks (functionality, not ad removal)

No Premium Version

Currently, there is no paid, ad-free version of the App. Future updates may include this option.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Not Medical or Professional Advice

The App provides productivity tools and techniques. It is NOT:

• Guaranteed to improve productivity
• A substitute for professional help

Work-break intervals are general recommendations. Consult professionals for specific needs.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We shall NOT be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost profits or data
• Personal injury or property damage
• Damages resulting from app use or inability to use
• Third-party claims

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (currently $0 for free version).
